Chicken Salt that’s healthy!
A chicken salt that is healthy? Is there such a thing??
Australians have a love affair with ‘chicken salt’ and it features on a lot of takeaway food.
Here is a closer look at what’s in ‘chicken salt’:
Salt (70%), Wheat Flour, Flavour Enhancers (621 MSG 635, 327), Wheat Starch, Onion Powder, Sugar, Maltodextrin (from corn and tapioca), Food Acids (330), Anticaking Agent (341), Flavours, Spice, Beef Fat, Bell Pepper Powder, Herbs, Soy Sauce Powder, Seasoning, Caramel Colour (150c).
There’s not even any chicken in your chicken salt!
I really wanted to create a version that was delicious and good for your health instead of harming your health.
So my Chicken Broth Salt was born!
You get all the healing nutrients and immunity benefits of chicken broth with the natural trace minerals of the salt.
It’s also amazingly delicious (if I do say so myself!)
You can use it instead of salt on your meals for that yummy hit of savoury chicken flavour. It is also great added to any recipe instead of regular salt for an extra layer of flavour.
Try it on my Crunchy Olive Oil Potatoes. A match made in heaven!!
