Sustainable Cleaning With Culture Clean

If you are a long time customer, you will know just how passionate I am about the environment! I practice this in my daily life, in the community and with my businesses.

Here is how I make Culture Clean as sustainable as I can:

♥ Glass Bottles

Glass bottles are used to reduce plastic, hold up the integrity of the fermented product and be easily reusable or recyclable.

♥ Refills

I have some new refillable pouches for All Purpose Spray and Mould Magic. These pouches are made in Australia from foil, so they can be reused or recycled. They are also lighter to transport and enables you to keep reusing your glass spray bottles at home.

♥ Bottle Buy Back

Bring back your glass bottles and I will give you $2 off your next bottle! I wash, sterilise and reuse them. It’s an arduous process, but every little bit helps the planet!

 

♥ Local, Natural Ingredients

Culture Clean is a plant-based cleaning range and many of the ingredients are grown in my garden, including this lemon verbena. I forage for the pine needles, which fall off after the black cockatoos have been at them!

♥ Traditional, Slow Production

Culture Clean is handmade in small batches in a traditional old fashioned way. Using a recipe of my grandmother’s I ferment natural ingredients. It’s a very gentle process with no industrial production required.

♥ Upcycled Packaging

You may get some very strange boxes when you get your Culture Clean order in the mail!! I upcycle everything, including these plumbing supply boxes from my husband’s business. I use shredded paper to cushion and recycled paper and newspaper to wrap.

♥ Helps Not Harms

Unlike other cleaning products, Culture Clean actively helps your health and that of your home with the good bacteria!! Each batch is hand-cultured using a traditional method and contains absolutely no toxic ingredients.

Sustainabilty is a way of life to me, so that naturally transfers to my businesses. All processes and practices are thoughtfully considered to have the least impact possible and to be completely ethical.
