I am sure you are all well aware that mould can be very problematic for our health and wellbeing so I am here to help with some mould prevention tips!
With houses closed and heating on in winter, things can get a bit damp and mould can start flourishing. Any extra rain and flooding can be problematic too so try to dry out things as soon as possible if you can.
As well as using my Mould Magic probiotic spray regularly around the house, you can also keep mould at bay with these mould prevention tips:
✅ Open doors and windows regularly to allow bathrooms and kitchens to have a good air flow and keep dry
✅ Check for and repair leaks quickly before they become a problem
✅ Always use exhaust fans (I run them for a bit)
✅ Dry up any spills or moisture straight away
✅ If you dry clothes on a rack inside, keep the windows open and allow plenty of airflow (even use a fan)
✅ Don’t have a huge amount of indoor plants (sorry!) or fish tanks as they will increase the humidity in your home
If you think you have a severe mould problem in your house, please don’t hesitate to see a specialist!
